The Rolex Shanghai Masters is always raising the bar in an effort to make the world's best tennis players comfortable and allowing them to have an enjoyable time in Asia's biggest and most prestigious tennis championship.
New this year to the multiple award-winning tournament is the Rolex Shanghai Putt Putt Masters. Devised by local artist Nancy K. Pon and created by world famous course designer G. T. Percha who worked with tennis tournament organisers to develop the course. Nine holes of fun that has been created in the gardens off the outdoor deck from The Tomahawk Club player lounge and among a grove of tall cinnamomum camphora trees and lush greenery.
Each of the nine holes highlight the stunning sights of Shanghai, from the Yu Yuan Gardens to the recreation of Old Shanghai in Xin Tian Di to the brilliant skyscrapers of New Shanghai in Pudong.
The final hole is a small replica of futuristic Qi Zhong Stadium where matches at the Rolex Shanghai Masters are being played.
And talk about professional tennis players being competitive at everything, well the Rolex Shanghai Putt Putt Masters is no exception and has attracted pretty much all the big names from A to Z - that's Alcaraz to Zverev.
