Andy Murray reached world No.1 status. He won Wimbledon and the US Open and was a finalist at the Australian and French Open and he wo two Olympic singles gold medals at Back to Back Olympics in London and Rio. And for us at the Rolex Shanghai Masters he was a multiple champion at QiZhong Stadium.

The Paris Olympics was Andy’s last event as a player. We are sad to see him hang up the racquets but at the same time we wish him all the very best for the next chapter of his life and to be able to spend more time with his wife and four young children. He is a legend in sport and played with guts and determination and provided so much inspiration with his undying attitude.

Tennis will miss seeing Andy. Here is a montage of the ten best shots he played over the years at the Rolex Shanghai Masters that included wins over Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.
